Reto Micheluzzi is driven by solving his clients’ most complex accounting and financial reporting issues, creating a path through the dense regulatory framework and bodies of rules. As a partner in PwC’s Transaction Services, he has proven experience in numerous industries, including technology, pharma, energy, and retail & consumer. Clients have come to trust Reto’s attitude and authority as he confidently guides them through complex revenue transactions, challenging deal-structuring and consolidation questions, among many other topics. His passion for his clients’ success supports them in developing into organizations better equipped for today’s challenges of ever increasing complexity, including the new revenue recognition standard.

Reto frequently presents at PwC, client and industry events, where he engages the audience on issues relating to revenue recognition, M&A transactions or accounting for income taxes, and their financial reporting challenges under IFRS and US GAAP. He has twenty-four years of experience in advising a wide range of clients in Europe and the USA. Before joining the National Office, where he focused on advising engagement teams and clients of the Firm on complex matters relating to accounting for income taxes and business combinations, and then Transaction Services, Reto specialized for five years in serving clients related to the Software/Internet industry in our Silicon Valley Practice.

Reto received his lic.rer.pol (Swiss equivalent of Masters Degree) from the University of Bern, Switzerland, with a major in business administration and a minor in law. He is a CPA in Alaska, California and Texas, and a Swiss Chartered Accountant.
