REBECCA PRUITT serves as Assistant Attorney General in the Consumer Fraud Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General's Office in Springfield. She received her B.S. and M.S.W. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago. Prior to joining the Illinois Attorney General's Office she was in private practice in Missouri with a focus on elder law.  She has been a presenter at Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education and Missouri Bar Continuing Legal Education programs. She has co-authored a chapter for ICLE's ADVISING ELDERLY CLIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. She received the Pro Bono Award from the Missouri Bar in 2003.
