Rebecca is a partner at Schindler Cohen & Hochman LLP, a litigation and art law boutique.  In addition to handling the U.S. litigation needs of foreign businesses and individuals from France, Italy, Israel, Russia, Brazil and the U.K, she acts as liaison counsel for many domestic and non-US corporations and high net worth individuals in a variety of complex litigation matters in foreign (multinational) jurisdictions.  She has handled several significant jury and bench trials, arbitrations and mediations and also provides strategic advice to clients confronting commercial, corporate, shareholder, and intra-family conflicts in a broad array of businesses, including financial services, hedge funds, technology, fashion and licensing.  Rebecca’s art law practice includes the representation of art galleries, dealers and private collectors, providing both transactional advice and litigation services to clients in the domestic and international arts communities.  Fluent in French and Italian, and with a working knowledge of Russian and Hebrew, Rebecca is able to advocate for a diverse international clientele. 

A member of the bars of New York and Massachusetts, Rebecca is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the First and Second Circuits.  Before joining Schindler Cohen & Hochman, she was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Hale & Dorr, LLP. 

Rebecca graduated from Columbia College (magna cum laude) and received her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and an editor of the VLA Journal of Law and the Arts.
