Rachel has significant experience in a variety of real estate transactions, including leasing, financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and affordable housing and community development.  She has represented many institutional lenders and borrowers with structuring, documenting and negotiating single and multi-site financings secured by hotels, shopping centers, industrial complexes, office buildings and other commercial property. She specializes in extensive due diligence analysis and management of multi-state portfolio transactions.

Rachel focuses a substantive portion of her real estate practice on affordable housing and community development matters. She has counseled developers (both non-profit and for-profit), syndicators and equity investors in connection with the development and investment in multi-family affordable housing projects which includes financing and syndication of such developments with multi-tiered debt and equity structures such as mixed-finance, HOME, CDBG, Section 8, and tax-exempt and taxable bond financings.
