Philip A. Canfield

Professional Background
Mr. Canfield is a principal of GTCR Golder Rauner, LLC and has worked at GTCR since 1992. His primary area of focus is information technology investments.  In addition, Mr. Canfield is experienced in general business services and investments.  During his tenure at GTCR, Mr. Canfield has been actively involved in over 75 acquisitions and has raised in excess of $8 billion in outside capital for GTCR portfolio companies.  Mr. Canfield currently serves on the board of directors for the following GTCR portfolio companies:

• Solera, Inc.
 A consulting, outsourced services, and technology solutions company focused on the auto physical damage insurance claims processing industry
• Sorenson Communications, Inc.
 The leading provider of Video Relay Services for the deaf community
• IQNavigator
 The leading provider of managed service programs and on-demand services procurement software

In addition Mr. Canfield served as a director of many of GTCR’s prior successful investments including AppNet, Cellnet and DigitalNet.

Prior to joining GTCR in 1992, Mr. Canfield was employed in the corporate finance department of Kidder, Peabody & Co.Incorporated where he contributed to teams that completed two initial public offerings, two merger and acquisition assignments and one secondary public offering.

Educational Background
Mr. Canfield holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. He received a finance degree from the Honors Business Program at the University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with high honors.

Community Involvement
Mr. Canfield is a member of the Council on the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Latin School of Chicago.  Mr. Canfield is also an active volunteer and sponsor for the Chicago Foundation for Education, a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the educational experience of Chicago’s public school children.
