Peter C. Gundersen is Vice President, International Trade Compliance at United Technologies Corporation (UTC).  As such, he is responsible for UTC’s worldwide International Trade Compliance (ITC) program and chairs the company’s ITC Council.  He assumed this position in November 2015, and was previously Vice President and Associate General Counsel, ITC, at UTC’s Pratt & Whitney Division.

Peter joined Pratt & Whitney in October 2006 where he directed the implementation of export and import compliance programs, processes, and procedures for business units and facilities worldwide.  He also advised senior business leaders and managers on export controls, economic sanctions, antiboycott, and other laws and regulations affecting Pratt & Whitney's global trade activities.

Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, Peter was a Senior Attorney with the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked for twelve years managing enforcement, regulatory interpretation, contracts, and employment matters.  Peter is a graduate of Syracuse University and the University of Richmond School of Law.
