Originally from the Isle of Man, Patrick has worked for KPMG in Hong Kong and China for 20 years, and now leads KPMG’s Hong Kong based restructuring and insolvency practice.

Over the last two decades, Patrick has been involved in some of the most significant cross border insolvencies the market has seen.  He is one of the Liquidators of Lehman Brothers’ Hong Kong operations, as well as those of MF Global, and more recently has been heavily involved in the OW Bunker case.

In addition to his multi-jurisdictional work, Patrick has been involved in a number insolvencies where the Liquidator / Provisional Liquidator appointment was made by the Courts in BVI or Cayman, with the underlying assets being businesses in China. 

Patrick’s career at KPMG has involved a wide spectrum of sectors, from real states to financial services, taking in manufacturing, telecommunications, transport and logistics along the way.
