Ori Lev is a Deputy Enforcement Director for Litigation at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).  In this role, Mr. Lev oversees a team of enforcement attorneys responsible for enforcing federal consumer financial law.  Prior to joining the CFPB, Mr. Lev served as the Associate Director for Enforcement at the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, and as a litigator at the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice and at the Federal Trade Commission.  He also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Harold Baer, Jr. on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.  Mr. Lev is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Yale Law School.
