Go Daddy Inc.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Scottsdale, AZ, USA

I'm officially an EVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary for GoDaddy -- responsible for all things legal. You know, the usual stuff - m&a, governance, litigation, and intellectual property matters, as well as customer-facing & third-party transactional agreements. Unofficially, I'm somewhat of a corporate historian in view of my tenure, and oftentimes referred to as the "VP of Everything"? as my path to the GC's seat was atypical. I recently became the executive sponsor of GDLIT - GoDaddy Latinos in Technology - and couldn't be more thrilled as I'm proud of my Mexican background.

Since joining GoDaddy in 2002, I've served as Project Manager for our private registration offering, VP of Wild West Domains (our reseller affiliate), VP of Public Relations for our ground-breaking 2005 Super Bowl commercial, and Deputy General Counsel. Along the way I grew our philanthropic efforts -- GoDaddy Cares -- and developed our legendary holiday parties at Chase Field. In my life before GoDaddy - was there one? -- I worked in HR leadership positions and practiced labor and employment law in NYC.

When I started working for the company "with the funny name "in 2002, I never imagined I would be here 14 years later. And why? Because every single day I have the privilege of working with fun and amazing people who make me smarter.

For those of you who are interested in my background, I received my law degree (long ago -before Al Gore invented the internet)) from the University of Pennsylvania. I earned a B.A., summa cum laude, from Gettysburg College.

My spare time is limited but I love my rescue dog & 2 rescue cats, music, the Yankees, the NY Rangers, and opera. I am working on my golf swing, but it's a long way from where it needs to be, that's for sure!
