Nancy Eberhardt is the Executive Director of Pro Bono Partnership, which provides business and transactional legal services to nonprofit organizations serving the disadvantaged or enhancing the quality of life in neighborhoods in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Nancy provides overall leadership for strategy, operations, financial oversight and fundraising.

Prior to this appointment, Nancy worked for 14 years providing direct legal services to New Jersey non-profit groups, counseling nonprofit executives and board members on a variety of corporate and transactional legal areas including corporate formation and application for federal tax-exemption; corporate structure and governance; federal and state tax requirements and liabilities; compliance and registration; legal issues in fundraising; and lobbying and political activities. Nancy also recruited corporate legal departments and law firms to participate in providing legal services, supervises client outreach, and assists in coordinating nonprofit educational programs in New Jersey. 

Nancy was formerly an associate at Riker Danzig LLP, with a focus on environmental law. Nancy currently serves on the Pro Bono Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and has been an adjunct professor in Department of Public Administration at Kean University. She has served as trustee on the boards of Morris County United Way, Children on the Green, Passaic River Coalition, and several smaller New Jersey nonprofit organizations.

She is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, and is a graduate of The College of William and Mary and of Rutgers School of Law – Newark.
