NANCY AXILROD is General Counsel of Coach, Inc., a leading American design house of modern luxury accessories. Coach, Inc. is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and employs approximately 18,000 people globally. With over 500 Coach Stores in North America, 400 locations in Asia and over 20 in Europe, Coach is a global leader in premium handbags and accessories.  In addition, in May 2015, Coach acquired Stuart Weitzman, a leading designer and manufacturer of women’s luxury footwear.

Nancy oversees all legal functions for both the Coach and Stuart Weitzman brands.

Before joining Coach, Nancy was Assistant General Counsel at Icahn Associates Corp. and Icahn Enterprises, L.P., where she was responsible for all litigation at companies owned, controlled or associated with activist investor, Carl Icahn. This litigation experience included shareholder actions, hedge fund fiduciary actions, complex commercial litigation, environmental matters, product liability and employment matters. Prior to her work at Icahn, Nancy was the Vice President and General Counsel for Sands Casino Hotel Atlantic City (an Icahn affiliated company), where she was responsible for all legal issues, including SEC and casino regulatory compliance.

Previously, Nancy was a Shareholder at Sterns & Weinroth, P.C. She is admitted to the bars of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
