Work History: Monique joined Novelis Corporation in 2011 and is currently serving as Commercial Counsel. In her role, she regularly provides legal advice, counseling and service to the Novelis North America Business Group and to the Novelis Global Information Technology Group to ensure that Novelis' liabilities and legal risks are minimized in furtherance of strategic goals and objectives. She is responsible for a wide array of commercial agreements including procurement, sales, distribution and technology licensing agreements.  She is the resident subject matter expert on technology transactions and maintains a global IT contract compliance program inclusive of a worldwide training initiative.

Prior to joining Novelis, Monique served as Associate Counsel at Aflac Incorporated and started her legal career in 2005 as an Associate in the corporate department of Dentons (f/k/a McKenna, Long & Aldridge, LLP).

She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science and went on to graduate Cum Laude from Howard University School of Law.
