Mitchell S. Presser is a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He Chaired Practising Law Institute's annual conference on Private Equity and Venture Capital Investing from 1998 through 2001. He is the author of a number of articles on corporate and securities law matters, including articles on the use of Special Committees in the Going Private context. His practice concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, leveraged buyouts, corporate governance and securities law matters. He graduated from New York University (B.S., magna cum laude, 1986) and received a J.D. (1989) from Yale Law School.
