Mitchell A. Kamin

Trial attorney Mitchell A. Kamin is a partner with Bird Marella, a litigation firm in Los Angeles. With nearly two decades of litigation experience, he handles complex civil and white collar criminal cases, and has litigated and counseled companies in areas, including entertainment, gaming, copyright, contract disputes, securities and FCPA. Mr. Kamin advises clients on legal issues related to social gaming and gambling, and is a frequent speaker and author on those topics.

Prior to joining Bird Marella, Mr. Kamin served as President and CEO for Bet Tzedek Legal Services, one of the largest and most successful non-profit law firms in the United States. He also spearheaded the largest pro bono initiative in U.S. history, garnering multiple national awards including the ABA Pro Bono Publico Award. Mr. Kamin received his Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, where he graduated cum laude; and his Bachelor of Arts from U.C. Berkeley with highest honors.

Mr. Kamin serves on the Board of Directors of the Breed Street Shul Project, and recently served as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles.
