Milton L. Petersen is an attorney whose practice focuses on information technology (IT) related transactions, including outsourcing, ERP, cloud computing, and healthcare technology transactions, other software development and technology licensing/acquisition contracts, e-commerce and Internet-related issues, and privacy and confidentiality concerns.  Prior to attending The University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Petersen worked for over a decade as a computer and network performance consultant in the IT industry, helping provide him with an in-depth understanding of technology-related issues. Mr. Petersen has counseled a wide variety of clients, ranging from technology startups, to Fortune 100 companies, to various public sector entities, on a broad array of complex issues relating to IT law.  After practicing for over ten years at two law firms in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Petersen joined HunterMaclean in Savannah, Georgia in 2010.  Mr. Petersen has authored various articles on IT law and has given presentations about IT law at conferences across the United States and in other countries.
