Michelle Campbell is a lawyer and consultant with 15 years of experience first as a restructuring lawyer at White & Case now as a consultant leading AlixPartners' strategic communications business.  Michelle spearheaded the development of AlixPartners' corporate change and strategic communications business, in which she works with management, lawyers, financial advisors and the media to develop and launch tailored public relations and communications programs for corporate stakeholders in connection with game-changing announcements. Before leaving the practice of law, Michelle was selected by Turnarounds and Workouts Magazine as one of the nation's 14 Outstanding Young Restructuring Lawyers.

Michelle also sells consulting services for restructuring, claims administration and bankruptcy case management, litigation, class action noticing, electronic discovery, technology and business intelligence. She regularly provides individual coaching and thought leadership, having spoken on numerous panels and published multiple articles where she provides "plain English" tips and advice concerning business and network development, stakeholder communications and litigation management.  Michelle is known for sharing her practical networking and business development tips with law firms in connection with CLE programs. She also founded a "Book Club" for rising stars within the professional services industry who are trying to develop their network and books of business.  Please contact Michelle for more information about joining her Book Club:  mcampbell@alixpartners.com 

Michelle earned her BA in International Relations from the University of Southern California and her law degree from Southern Methodist University. She is a member of the California and Texas State Bars. Michelle serves on the Board of Directors of Women in E-Discovery and is a recurring member of the Annual Photography Benefit Committee for InMotion, an organization offering hope to low-income women who need free legal services. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Everybody Wins! LA, an organization that aims to provide Los Angeles County elementary school students with reading mentors and build a culture of reading and book sharing,
