Michael F. Coyne, a Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel, is Co-Head of Litigation for JPMorgan Chase, responsible for all of the litigation and governmental investigation matters affecting the Firm's businesses worldwide.  He joined JPMC in 1992 as a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in the Chemical Bank Legal Department, and from 2004 to 2009 served as Co-Head of Litigation for JPMorgan's Investment Bank. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Mike was an associate attorney with Rogers & Wells in New York City, specializing in securities, corporate and commercial and real estate cases. Born in Reinbeck, Iowa, Mike grew up in Los Angeles, California, and Wilmington, North Carolina. He is a 1980 graduate of the University of North Carolina, and received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1983, where he was Executive Editor of the Boston College Law Review.
