Meredith Lloyd is an Executive Director in EY’s National Professional Practice Group, where she specializes in matters related to consolidation, the equity method, nonmonetary transactions, spinoffs, and bankruptcy and liquidation. Meredith is responsible for developing interpretative guidance, interacting with standard setters, advising clients and engagement teams and leading professional education courses on the aforementioned topics. She also manages EY’s quarterly Financial Reporting Update webcasts.  Meredith was a member of EY’s Global IFRS group in London from 2008-2011 where she focused on similar topics and co-authored International GAAP®.

Prior to 2008, Meredith spent several years in EY’s assurance practice in McLean, Virginia, auditing public and private companies, primarily in the government contracting, technology, and telecommunications industries. She assisted clients with implementing new accounting pronouncements, resolving complex accounting and auditing issues; completing acquisitions and spin-off; performing due diligence procedures and maintaining SEC and regulatory compliance, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 rules on internal controls. While in McLean, she chaired several committees in EY’s Professional Women’s Network and coordinated EY McLean involvement in Junior Achievement.

Meredith is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the McIntire School of Commerce from the University of Virginia, with a concentration in Accounting.
