Matthew M. Neumeier, deceased, was a partner in the Chicago office of Howrey LLP, where he co-chaired the firm’s Consumer Litigation and Class Action Practice. He was also an Adjunct Professor in the LL.M. program on Information Technology and Privacy Law at the John Marshall Law School, where he taught courses on High Technology Litigation. Mr. Neumeier received his B.G.S. from the University of Michigan in 1981, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 1984. He was a law clerk for the Hon. J. Clifford Wallace of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and Chief Justice Warren E. Burger of the U.S. Supreme Court, prior to entering into private practice.
