Matthew Ahn is a Senior Corporate Counsel in the litigation group at Oracle.  In addition to managing a large docket of intellectual property and commercial disputes, Matt handles FTC and FCC matters for the company and is involved with the affirmative licensing of Oracle’s Java platform.  Recent accomplishments include negotiating a $0 settlement and a litigation walk away with two non-practicing entities, participating in a number of successful IPR proceedings, and securing summary judgment of non-infringement in a complex patent litigation.

Previously, Matt was an attorney with Morrison & Foerster LLP, where he helped a client secure a billion dollar jury verdict in a landmark patent and trademark case relating to smartphones and tablets.  He is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, and clerked for the Honorable James A. Parker in the District of New Mexico just before Breaking Bad fans began streaming into Albuquerque.
