Mark Spaulding

Mark Spaulding
is a vice president in Corporate Treasury of Wells Fargo. He is a member of the team responsible for implementing Basel II, Basel III and Economic Capital for securitization exposures held by the bank. His role requires interfacing with Audit, Credit, and the bank’s Primary Regulators. Mark joined Wells Fargo in 1998 and was previously a securitization analyst in the Structured Transactions and Analytical Research team performing pricing/valuation and rate of return analysis of various loan portfolios residing on the corporation’s balance sheet. He has been an active participant in SFIG and SIFMA advocacy efforts related to the securitization industry.

Mark graduated with a BS in Policy Analysis from Cornell University and a MBA from the McColl School of Business at Queens University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and served as president of the North Carolina CFA Society from 2006-2007.
