Marjorie Peerce is a member of Stillman & Friedman, P.C., where her practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and general commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. After law school she clerked for United States District Court Judge Vincent L. Broderick of the Southern District of New York and joined the then Stillman Friedman & Shaw, P.C. in 1986. Marjorie taught trial advocacy at NYU Law School for over 10 years, was the President of the New York Council of Defense Lawyers, was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Bar Council, and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Federal Bar Council News. She also was the Chairperson of the Criminal Law Committee of the Association of the Bar for the City of New York and currently serves as a member. She also is a member of the Federal State Judicial Advisory Council, for whom she has worked on committees addressing ethical issues, the role of interpreters in state and federal courts and issues arising out of the Supreme Court's plea bargaining decisions this past term.
