Marjorie E. Berman is a partner at Krantz & Berman LLP, a boutique litigation firm she co-founded in 1997.  Her areas of practice include complex commercial litigation, employment litigation and counsel and white-collar criminal defense.  Prior to founding Krantz & Berman, Ms. Berman was a partner with Leventhal & Slade. 

Ms. Berman graduated magna cum laude and phi beta kappa from Brown University in 1983. She received her J.D. from Columbia University in 1989 where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Naomi Reice Buchwald of the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Berman is a Trustee of the Federal Bar Council Foundation, an Editor of  the Federal Bar Council Newsletter and has been a member of the Federal Bar Council Inn of Court since 2001. Outside of the legal profession, Ms. Berman is President of Families with Children from China of Greater New York, a non-profit organization of 1500+ families dedicated to education and advocacy on behalf of children adopted from China and on behalf of children who remain living in China's orphanages.  She is also active in alumni affairs for Brown and Columbia Universities. She has a daughter who is thirteen years old.
