Margaret Dudley is a tax manager for McGladrey who has worked in international tax for over eight years. As the Southeast Regional Leader she is an integral part of the International Assignment Services group within McGladrey, specializing in expatriate and inpatriate taxation and planning. Margaret advises and guides clients on the planning and implications involved in international assignments.  She manages the home and host country tax filing requirements and assists companies with their global compensation and reporting and payroll withholding.  She conducts entry and exit consultations with the employees to address the implications of their assignment with regards to their U.S. federal and state tax positions.  She also provides consulting services for short term assignees, business travelers, tax treaty matters, informational reporting (i.e. FBARs, FATCA), expatriation, foreign tax credits, and foreign-earned income and housing exclusions.   She has been with McGladrey since December 2004.

Prior to joining McGladrey, LLP, Margaret served as an active duty Air Force Logistical Officer for eight years specializing in Fuels and Combat Logistical Support. 

As a U.S. citizen who has lived and worked in three foreign countries, she is compassionate to the unique adjustments each assignee and his or her family can experience with their new overseas job.
