Marc Kieselstein is a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Mr. Kieselstein has extensive experience in complex corporate restructurings, representing debtors and creditors in all aspects of the insolvency process, including chapter 11 reorganizations, out of court workouts, sales of financially distressed companies, distressed debt transactions and Section 363 asset sales and purchases. Some of his recent representative matters include UAL Corporation, Calpine Corporation, Visteon Corporation, Tropicana Entertainment, Dura Automotive Systems, SIRVA Relocation, J.L. French Automotive Castings, Dade Behring, and Trans World Airlines. Mr. Kieselstein has been recognized in the 2004-2009 editions of Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. He is also a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy related topics. Mr. Kieselstein received his B.A. from City University of New York, Queens College, magna cum laude, and his J.D. from The University of Chicago.
