LISA J. REÁTEGUI is a partner in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group in the Chicago office. Ms. Reátegui joined the firm in 1995. Her principal areas of practice are corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital.

Ms. Reátegui represents public corporations, working with senior executives and boards of directors on a wide range of governance, compliance, disclosure and financing issues.

In addition, Ms. Reátegui's practice includes representations of both buyers and sellers of public and private corporations. Ms. Reátegui also regularly represents issuers, underwriters and investors in a variety of public and private offerings of investment grade and high yield debt, common and preferred stock and hybrid securities.

She regularly represents entrepreneurs and investors in equity and venture capital transactions. Ms. Reátegui also focuses on the representation of high net worth families in the formation of multi-generational investment vehicles, as well as their private equity and venture capital transactions.

Ms. Reátegui is a member of the Board of Directors of Women Employed, an advocacy group for women in the work force and of lnstituto del Progresso Latino, an organization providing education, training and employment opportunities in Chicago's latino neighborhoods. She is also a member of the Women's Board of the Field Museum of Chicago and has chaired a number of major gift fund raising campaigns for Princeton University. Ms. Reátegui was named by Crain's Chicago Business to its annual "40 Under 40" listing of leading Chicago area business executives and professionals and as a member of the Leadership Greater Chicago Class of 2005.
