Lisa Ford has been dedicated to business product development for Royal Bank of Canada ‎for over a decade. As senior legal advisor to Business Financial Services, she has helped launch new and innovative products for business clients in the areas of deposits, cash management, digital channels, foreign exchange, guaranteed investment certificates, payments, and trusts. Notable examples include the new high interest notice account, remote cheque deposit services, online banking cross-border linking, and email and mobile payment services for businesses. Her legal work covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including strategy, design, policies and procedures, risk management, operations, third party alliances, marketing, and legal agreements.

Lisa is currently on temporary assignment providing legal advice in connection with complex commercial lending and deposit transactions. For this role, she leverages her experience from four years in private practice at McMillan LLP and Fogler, Rubinoff LLP specializing in the area of corporate finance.
