Leslie Parrish is a Senior Attorney with Public Counsel’s Children’s Rights Project. Ms. Parrish has been at Public Counsel for 13 years, and has supervised the Self-Help Guardianship Clinic at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Central Division, since 2004. The Guardianship Clinic assists hundreds of families file guardianship petitions each year. Ms. Parrish has provided trainings on guardianship law and process to court staff, volunteer attorneys, students, social workers, and community members. Ms. Parrish specializes in guardianship cases involving special immigrant juveniles and is responsible for two of Public Counsel’s publications: "Guardianship of the Person- Attorney Manual" and "Caring for Another’s Child: A Guide for Non-Parent Caregivers in Los Angeles County."
