Laura M. Jarsulic is Associate General Counsel for the Adjudication Group at the Securities and Exchange Commission. The group drafts Commission opinions and orders and advises the Commission on adjudicatory matters. Ms. Jarsulic joined the Commission in 2000 from private practice. Before becoming Associate General Counsel in 2013, she served as an Assistant Director in the Office of the General Counsel’s Legal Policy Group, and a senior counsel in the Division of Enforcement’s Office of Chief Counsel. Ms. Jarsulic earned her B.A., cum laude, from Rutgers University, and her J.D. from the University of Michigan, where she was the executive editor of Michigan’s Journal of Law Reform. She received the Chairman’s Excellence in Leadership award in 2012 and the Ellen Ross Award in 2006.
