Laura returned to Her Justice in 2013 following a one-year Fellowship with the organization which she completed in 2011.  As Senior Staff Attorney, Laura provides advice, counsel and brief legal services to women living in poverty in NYC, with a focus on Bronx residents.  She also develops and presents continuing legal education (CLE) programs, mentors volunteer attorneys on family and matrimonial cases at major corporate law firms, collaborates with the development department on fundraising and communication initiatives, advises the Junior Advisory Board, and conducts legal screenings at the Bronx Family Justice Center.

Prior to Her Justice, Laura was an Associate in the litigation department of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, LLP.  She graduated with a B.A. in Childhood Development from Tufts University and obtained her J.D. at American University, Washington College of Law in 2007, where she was a member of the American University Law Review.
