Kevin Barry is an Assistant United States Attorney and the Chief of the General Crimes Section in the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco.  He has prosecuted cases involving crimes such organized crime and drug distribution, weapons offenses, human trafficking, and extortion, among others, and has had a number of trials in these areas.  Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, he was a litigation associate at Boies, Schiller & Flexner.  At the firm, he worked on antitrust matters and complex commercial litigation on both the plaintiff and defense sides.  Immediately after law school at U.C. Berkeley, he served as a law clerk for the Hon. Martin Jenkins of the Northern District of California.  Prior to law school, he received a degree in philosophy from Fordham University and a degree in international politics from Penn State.
