Kevan Cleary is Senior Trial Counsel in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.  He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Law at Brooklyn Law School and Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Mr. Cleary graduated from New York University and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  He began his legal career at Cravath Swaine and Moore LLP., where he litigated complex cases under the guidance of David Bois.  Mr. Cleary has tried over 100 cases to verdict with over a quarter of them having been in the employment arena.  The U.S. Department of Justice regularly calls upon him to teach courtroom advocacy and trial techniques to Department of Justice attorneys and U.S. Attorneys at the U.S. Department of Justice National Advocacy Center.
