Katie Biber is a campaign and political veteran with broad skills honed in high-pressure, high-scrutiny environments. She currently serves as senior counsel at Airbnb in San Francisco, where she focuses on litigation, regulatory, and trust and safety matters.

Prior to Airbnb, she worked for more than 15 years at the highest levels of politics and government. She served as general counsel to the Romney for President campaign in 2012, managing all legal issues and growing the legal team from one to nearly forty. As an election lawyer, Katie represented hundreds of candidates, donors, political party committees, corporations, trade associations and nonprofit groups in enforcement actions, compliance matters and litigation. She also has significant experience navigating clients through investigations by the Justice Department and committees of the U.S. Congress.

Katie graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and a teaching fellow in the government department at Harvard College. Following law school, she served as a clerk to Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Katie is a frequent speaker on topics such as politics, tech, and the overlap between the two, as well as strategies to increase the presence of women in both industries. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons.
