Kate Woodward is Senior Labor and Employment Counsel for GE Healthcare, where she provides advice and training on a variety of labor and employment topics, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and the FLSA.  Kate also handles Alternative Dispute Resolution matters and administrative charges on behalf of the company.  Prior to joining GE Healthcare, Kate held roles as the Director of Compliance and Labor and Employment Counsel at Sara Lee Corporation/Hillshire Brands.  Prior to that, Kate worked at the law firm of Greene and Letts in Chicago where she represented management in employment litigation.  Kate received her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kate is passionate about pro bono and community service.  She has served as GE Healthcare’s pro bono coordinator and on the Board of Directors and the Associate Board for CARPLS, an organization that provides free legal advice to the underserved in the Chicago area.  When she’s not working, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
