Kathryn A. Zachem is Vice President, Regulatory and State Legislative Affairs, Comcast Corporation, and joined Comcast from the law firm Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP, where she was a partner and practiced communications law for 23 years.  During that time, she represented clients from nearly every segment of the communications sector including media, wireline, wireless, satellite, and internet service providers.  She is listed in Chambers USA (2007) as one of the top-forty leading lawyers in the Telecom, Broadcast and Satellite fields. She was just recently named by Washingtonian Magazine, as one of “Washington’s Best” lawyers practicing before the Federal Communications Commission. Ms Zachem is an active member of the Federal Communications Bar Association, currently serving on its Executive Committee. She is a recipient of the Association’s Distinguished Service Award.  

Ms. Zachem received her law degree from the George Mason University School of Law and her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science  from The George Washington University.  She is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia. She resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband Dan and daughter Alex.
