Kathryn A. Pyszka is an Assistant Regional Director in the Chicago Regional Office and Market Abuse Unit of the Division of Enforcement of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Her responsibilities include supervising the investigation and litigation of securities fraud cases, including those involving financial fraud, offering fraud, insider trading, market structure and manipulative trading practices, and broker-dealer and investment adviser fraud and supervision.  While at the SEC, Ms. Pyszka has also held the positions of Senior Trial Counsel, Branch Chief and Staff Attorney.  Before joining the SEC, Ms. Pyszka served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Joe B. McDade and was in private practice.  She received her J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
