Karin Wolman is a graduate of Columbia University and UCLA School of Law.  The Law Office of Karin Wolman, PLLC is a New York immigration practice serving businesses of all sizes, non-profit organizations and individuals, across industries from healthcare and the sciences, academia, finance and technology, to the performing arts and entertainment, fine arts, graphic arts and news media, culinary arts, fashion and beauty, architecture and design. She advises employers on all aspects of visas for new entry-level and experienced lateral hires, and green card sponsorship for workforce development and retention. She helps individuals to obtain visas, green cards and U.S. citizenship, and advises on strategies for transitions from student to professional visa status, job and career changes, sponsoring family members, waiver applications addressing grounds of ineligibility or other obstacles to a visa, green card, or US citizenship, and retaining permanent residence during planned stays abroad.??Ms. Wolman has published articles with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Practising Law Institute, New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and New York State Bar Association. She is a frequent speaker at local and national conferences on topics in immigration law. Based on her diverse and lengthy experience with O-1 and P visas, she serves as a moderator of the AILA InfoNet attorney discussion forum on O & P visas, and the forum on E treaty visas.
