Karin Wolman is a sole practitioner in New York serving businesses of all sizes, non-profit organizations, and individuals, across industries from healthcare and the sciences, academia, finance and technology, to the performing arts and entertainment, fine and graphic arts, new media, food, fashion and beauty, architecture and design. Ms. Wolman is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national conferences on topics ranging from aliens of extraordinary ability to naturalization, for organizations including Practising Law Institute, American Immigration Lawyers Association, New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and New York State Bar Association. A graduate of Columbia University and UCLA School of Law, Ms. Wolman worked at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the nation’s oldest performing arts center, when the O & P visa categories were introduced, and has observed many changes in the evolving treatment of these visas ever since. She has served as moderator of the AILA InfoNet attorney forum on O & P visas continuously since 2002, and has moderated other forums from time to time including those for E treaty visas, L-1 intracompany transferees, and religious workers. In 2017, she received the Servant of Justice Award from the Episcopal Diocese of New York.
