KARIE L. JOHNSON

As the founder of AEC Transformations, Karie uses her expertise to help transform business processes and project delivery through the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Strategies. As a recognized industry leader with a career spanning both Design and Construction Karie focuses on lean construction principles with a collaborative approach to stream-line business and project processes utilizing cutting-edge technology solutions to meet individual client needs.

Karie has developed the Virtual Construction vision and strategy for top National and International ENR rated General Contractors and Construction Managers. She has implemented and managed the use of BIM technology on projects at various levels both in the United States and internationally.  With experience throughout the entire project process from conception to completion, she offers teams a comprehensive and holistic approach to guide companies through the process of embedding technology to support and enhance core business initiatives and project requirements. Using lessons learned and a clear understanding of how process improvements can be captured she develops internal teams to implement VDC Strategies for competitive advantage, quality improvement, and increased corporate scopes of services.
