Julie Kearney is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), where she represents CEA's more than 2,000 member companies before the FCC and other government agencies. Julie's previous positions include:  Director of Public Policy and Legislation for National Public Radio (NPR), Senior Director and Regulatory Counsel for CEA, Associate Counsel in MCI's International Affairs group, and Associate at Haley Bader & Potts (now Garvey Schubert Barer). Julie is completing a third term on the Federal Commission's Consumer Advisory Committee and is currently Chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association Foundation. In 2007, Julie was recognized as one of Dealerscope Magazine's Top 40 Under 40. She earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D. from Catholic University's Columbus School of Law with a certificate from its Institute for Communications Law Studies. In her free time, Julie sings with the Choral Arts Society of Washington.
