Background
Mr. Yacovone joined Colliers ABR, Inc. in 2007 as a Senior Managing Director of the Project Management Group. Prior to joining CABR, he was a Principal of CRESA Partners FSI Project Management.

As a founding member of FSI, he has been personally involved in many of the company’s major projects. His thirty years of experience and exposure to negotiations on both sides of the table has been a major factor in the company’s success.

Prior to founding FSI, Mr. Yacovone held the position of Vice President of corporate administration for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. Here he was responsible for all the strategic planning, design and construction, lease negotiations, contract administration, purchasing, telecommunications and corporate security.

Mr. Yacovone has managed projects throughout many major cities in the United States. His technical expertise and background in electrical engineering have enabled CABR to deliver project management services for many complex projects.

Notable Projects

  • Planning and implementation of a corporate campus environment at Crystal Run Road in Middle Town, New York.  Consisted of three multi-story office buildings (500,000 sf).
  • Planning and construction of the core, shell and interiors of 11 Corporate Woods facility in Albany, NY (385,000 sf) for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.
  • Planning and Construction of an 80,000 sf of office space for GMAC Financial at 1270 Avenue of the Americas, NYC.
  • Restack of 200,000 sf of office space in Secaucus, New Jersey for Equitable Life Insurance.
  • Planning and construction of 38,000 sf of office space for American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) at 1211 Avenue of the Americas, NYC.
