Joseph Song concentrates his practice on patent litigation covering a broad array of technologies, including biotechnology, medical devices, memory chips, circuit design software, wireless communications protocols and telecommunications systems. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in patent cases across the country and has experience litigating in U.S. District Courts in California, Texas, Florida, and New Jersey. Mr. Song has also represented pro bono clients on Americans with Disabilities Act rights.

Mr. Song attended law school at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While in law school, Mr. Song served as an extern for the Honorable Susan Illston in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Mr. Song earned his bachelor of arts from the University of California, Berkeley in Molecular and Cell Biology, with an emphasis in Cell and Developmental Biology. While at Berkeley, he also worked as a research assistant for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory assisting in research on the structure of the mitochondrial cytochrome bc1 complex protein.
