Jonathan C. Medow is a senior trial lawyer who has practiced at Mayer Brown LLP since 1983. Throughout his career, Mr. Medow's practice has focused heavily on the defense of major accounting firms in significant cases across the county. He has represented Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touche, KPMG, Arthur Andersen, Grant Thornton and Crowe Horwath. Outside of the accounting field, Mr. Medow has handled trial and pre-trial matters in a wide variety of fields. As examples, he has defended a number of class actions challenging public company mergers. He has also represented on a pro bono basis a number of indigent defendants charged with serious felonies, up to and including first degree murder.

Mr. Medow's accomplishments over the years have been recognized by such publications as Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Mr. Medow served for two years as a law clerk to the Hon. Susan Getzendanner of the Northern District of Illinois.  He graduated with a BA With Distinction from Stanford University, and in 1981 he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor on the Harvard Law Review
