John M. Skenyon is a principal in the firm of Fish & Richardson P.C. in Boston, Massachusetts. He was admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and is a registered patent attorney. He has a degree in electrical engineering. He has been lead counsel in over ninety patent cases and has won one of the largest patent damages awards ever in a jury trial. He is the principal author of the book Patent Damages, Law and Practice (West Group 1999), and he has lectured frequently on patent litigation topics. He is past president of the Boston Patent Law Association and is an active member of a variety of other bar associations.
