Ernst & Young named Mr. Imhoff the first Americas Director of Security in September 2002. In the aftermath of 9/11, EY created this office to upgrade its security and consolidate responsibility into a single entity. Since those early days his security responsibilities have expanded to encompass EY’s 167,000 person global organization. His remit includes emergency and business continuity planning, physical security, asset protection, executive protection, travel security, meeting and events security.

Before joining EY, Mr. Imhoff served with the FBI for more than 26 years in a variety of investigative and managerial positions. While on loan from the FBI, Mr. Imhoff was Director of INTERPOL in the United States. In that capacity Mr. Imhoff represented U.S. law enforcement to the 188 member-nation organization, overseeing thousands of international investigations and all aspects of international law enforcement liaison. Mr. Imhoff’s investigative achievements spanned the FBI’s jurisdiction, with success in the areas of white-collar crime, organized crime, and drug enforcement.

Mr. Imhoff is active in a number of security professional organizations. Currently, he is President of the International Security Management Association. He also serves on the Council of the US State Department’s Overseas Advisory Security Council; the FBI’s Domestic Security Alliance Council and; is an active member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Mr. Imhoff is also a member of the National Law Enforcement Museum Advisory Committee (opening in Wash. DC in 2015).

Mr. Imhoff holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College (MD) with majors in Mathematics and Accounting, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Imhoff is married to Donna Marie Bianco (nee). They have two sons.
