John H. Eickemeyer is a shareholder in the firm of Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz, P.C., where he devotes most of his time to defending accounting firms in malpractice suits and disciplinary proceedings. To date he has defended dozens of professional liability claims against CPA firms, and he currently serves on the defense panels of two malpractice insurers. In recent years, Mr. Eickemeyer has co-chaired an annual seminar on accountants’ liability for ALI-ABA, and he is a frequent lecturer on various issues relating to the liability exposure of CPA firms. Mr. Eickemeyer is a summa cum laude graduate of Fordham College and a graduate of the Harvard Law School.
