Jason G. Kurth is an attorney in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Financial Institutions & Products, in Washington, D.C.  He is currently the Assistant to the Branch Chief in Branch 1, and has been with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel since 2012.  Prior to joining the Office of Chief Counsel, he was an associate at Dechert LLP in the International and Domestic Tax practice group for 5 years.  Jason received his J.D. in 2007 from the University of Pennsylvania, and his B.A., Economics and Political Science, in 2004 from the University of California, Berkeley.
