Janet Marvel is a member of Pattishall, McAuliffe, LLP, one of the country's largest and oldest trademark, copyright and advertising firms.  Janet's practice encompasses brand planning for clients including Fortune 50 companies.  She also has extensive experience in international trademark law, as well as anti-counterfeiting strategy and infringement litigation.

Janet has taught at both Northwestern University School of Law and the University of Chicago on trademark issues.  She has served on the Board of Managers of the Intellectual Property Association of Chicago and is Intake Editor of the American Bar Association's intellectual property magazine "Landslide."

Janet is co-author of the treatise TRADEMARKS AND UNFAIR COMPETITION, published by LEXIS/NEXIS, now in its eighth edition.
