Jan Woo is the Legal Branch Chief in the Office of Information Technologies and Services in the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.  Ms. Woo manages and supervises attorneys engaged in the analysis and review of filings made under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.  Previously, she worked in the Disclosure Standards Office in the Division of Corporation Finance and served as a Special Counsel in the Division of Trading and Markets.  Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. Woo was in private practice in New York.  She received her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, her M.P.A from New York University, and her B.A. from Barnard College.
