Jacqueline ("Jackie") Glassman represents companies seeking to grow in the automotive and transportation sectors.

Jackie has been at the forefront of each policy and technological initiative impacting the automotive industry over the past two decades. She served as the Chief Counsel of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the aftermath of the Ford/Firestone investigations and oversaw the development of the regulations and programs implementing the TREAD Act. Jackie also spearheaded the reform of the Corporate Average Fuel Economy program, completing the new program while serving as the NHTSA's Acting Administrator. Jackie now works actively with her clients to anticipate and participate in developing laws, policies, and regulations involving Smart Transportation as well as connected and self-driving cars.

Jackie has been involved with all recent legislation impacting motor vehicle safety and fuel economy, from the advanced airbag mandate in the late 1990s, through the revamping of the CAFE law in 2007, and the more recent Transportation Reauthorization Act of 2013. Jackie has been often recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers & Partners, which reports that "Jacqueline Glassman is 'top rate.' She wins particular praise for her approach to matters, with sources affirming: 'she is very good with people, very knowledgeable but also approachable.'" (Chambers & Partners, 2013).

Jackie counsels clients on Vehicle Safety Act compliance and assists companies in building effective corporate compliance programs and responding to government investigations. Jackie represents clients in legislative and rulemaking proceedings, developing robust government relations, and incorporating policy trends into their business planning. Jackie works closely with the strategic-planning, technical, and legal staffs at her clients to identify and promote legislative and regulatory initiatives to advance their business objectives.
