Alessandra F. Zorgniotti was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings in 2006.  Judge Zorgniotti came to OATH from the New York City Office of Collective Bargaining where she was Associate General Counsel. Prior to that, she was an Assistant Corporation Counsel at the New York City Law Department from 1996 to 2001. She graduated from the School of Law at SUNY Buffalo, Magna Cum Laude and clerked at the Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, NY from 1994 to 1996. Judge Zorgniotti is an active member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and serves on the New York City Affairs Committee and has served on the Administrative Law and Labor and Employment Committees.  Before attending law school, Judge Zorgniotti worked in the classical music field as Performance Manager at the Metropolitan Opera Association and as the Executive Assistant to Opera Singer Marilyn Horne. Judge Zorgniotti studied in the Arts Administration Masters Program at Columbia University, and received her B.A. in English and Foreign Literature from Lewis and Clark College.
